Agriculture is a vital industry for our society, yet it exacerbates global problems like water wastage and ecosystem degradation. The extensive use of water and fertilizer, and many other inefficiencies, are in urgent need of new solutions. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning offer the potential of transforming this industry by altering current farming techniques. By using AI and ML based technologies incorporating data analytics and modeling, farmers can optimize their use of resources. This change can enhance crop yields, reduce waste, reduce environmental impact, and attempt to mitigate toxic fertilizer runoff. The application of artificial intelligence and machine learning can help us transition into better farming practices, and create a better world for future generations.
