This research thesis explores the use of social media platforms to promote autonomous learning among students at ASTU Special High School. The study investigates the effectiveness of social media in fostering independent education while considering the influence of contextual factors. The research involved gathering data from a sample of high school students at ASTU Special through questionnaires, surveys, interviews, and documentation. A total of 119 students were selected using purposive and random sampling techniques and their responses were subjected to thorough analysis
