Abstract

Anxiety is a type of mental disorder related to fear– one of the six fundamental emotions. Mental illness is a response to any perceived threats, causing one to worry excessively. There are multiple neurotransmitters and receptors related to anxiety, as well as many different ways one may contract and treat this mental disorder.
