Abstract

The assassination of Benazir Bhutto significantly changed Pakistan's political environment. Not only did she impact the role of women in politics, but she also empowered future generations of Pakistani women to become leaders. Benazir Bhutto’s leadership broke many barriers and inspired feminist movements around Pakistan. She left an inspiring legacy that inspired individuals both within Pakistan and globally to strengthen social justice and gender equality. Benazir Bhutto’s life and tragic assassination serve as a powerful reminder of the obstacles women face in politics, while also inspiring women around the world to embrace their influence and lead with confidence.
